IT Administrator — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

The opportunity We’re looking for a new IT Administrator to provide first line technical assistance to our end-users. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to tackling any problem that comes your way. Working in a small team, this position is a great opportunity to develop your career in a highly technical and supportive environment. Key responsibilities: Provide first-level support to end-users, responding to inquiries and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. Assist users with hardware and software-related problems, researching and finding creative solutions if required. Prioritise and manage support requests in a ticketing system, creating KB articles if appropriate. Support end users, coordinating warranty repairs with vendors and maintaining asset registers. Configure and manage portions of our infrastructure and networks. Assist with DR systems, server maintenance and security. Maintain strict confidentiality of commercial and sensitive information. Focus on workplace health and safety. About you: To excel in this role, you’ll need the following: Microsoft certifications or Tertiary IT qualifications. Commitment to excellence, with an eye for detail. A strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues because you have a knack for fixing anything. Strong skill levels across general office apps & their use with general business processes. Outstanding communication skills with an eagerness to help others. Self-motivation with a strength in researching new issues and determining the most appropriate solution. The ability to prioritize competing priorities and focussing to meet deadlines. Demonstrated experience contributing effectively within a small team. Flexibility, a willingness to adapt to change and a sense of humour. Proven experience supporting Windows based users in a corporate environment is highly regarded. We’re prioritising attitude and aptitude over experience for this role.
