Switchboard Administration officers are required to work a rotating roster that covers 24 hours per day, seven days per week inclusive of public holidays. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Ability to exercise personal judgement and initiative in the provision of efficient telecommunication services, including problem resolution and emergent response. Extensive experience and knowledge of general office and reception duties, preferably within a Health Care environment. Ability to maintain discretion and exercise judgment where necessary to resolve problems within the scope of the role in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined. Ability to communicate at all levels and effectively establish and foster networks across the facility to assist in streamlining daily processes. Proficiency in the application of computerised information systems and applications including Microsoft Office. Ability to contribute to a cohesive team environment by sharing information, supporting and assisting colleagues in a proactive manner. Mandatory Requirements: Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16 As per the EB11 Part Time less than 16hrs per fortnight agreement, the successful candidate for this position will be required to complete necessary documentation prior to commencing.
