National Sales Manager — Melbourne, Melbourne Region

Sales Management experience required. MV/HV electrical knowledge and relationships with Utilities required. Can be located in Sydney or Melbourne. The company This well-known and trusted national distributor of quality medium & high voltage electrical connectivity products and solutions is seeking a National Sales Manager in either Sydney or Melbourne. You will be representing a genuine market leader that is highly regarded and widely used across Australia and internationally. The position Whilst supervising the national sales team you will also be calling on overhead and underground power transmission and distribution customers across Australian, New Zealand and Asia Pacific markets. Duties include: Lead national sales team members to achieve sales targets and prepare sales forecasts. Develop and implement effective sales strategies. Provide coaching to the sales team and drive strong team performance. Research and establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. Negotiate and close agreements with customers. Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements. Liaise with Marketing and Category Managers to ensure brand consistency. Regular national travel will be required. Skills & experience required: Proven work experience as a Sales Manager is essential. Experience in new business development in a highly competitive sector. Strong communication and team management skills. Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude. An ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics.
