Internal Sales Coordinator — Mayfield West, Newcastle Area

Career move and get paid what you are worth Our client, in operation for just under 10 years and with over 50 staff, has a winning reputation as one of the best service companies of its kind. Servicing industries including Mining, Civil, Marine, Rail, Tunnelling and Drilling , no 2 days will be the same for you. The company works predominantly in hydraulics and is known for its efficiency in turnaround times and attention to detail. Products include hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders and drill rigs . The company also manufactures and holds drill head parts. Due to rapid growth and an ever-growing client base they are now seeking a skilled internal sales coordinator with a strong background in technical sales to support their distribution network. This is a brand new internal position and could potentially develop into an external sales position for the right individual. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in technical sales with hydraulic components Car license (mandatory) Hydraulic qualifications (desirable) Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Strong computer skills (excel desirable) Ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail. Ability to set and understand sales budgets. Ability to read technical drawings. Ability to work as part of a team Indicative tasks will include. Working as part of a team to develop sales territories. Develop new clients to their full sales potential. Prepare sales budgets. Preparing sales estimates. Capturing client data. Attending sales meetings. Preparing monthly sales reports. Attending work safety briefings. Complying with company OH&S procedures Standard hours of work are 7am-4pm. A generous base salary is on offer and commission payable when you reach your thresholds.
