Project Engineer — Surfside, Eurobodalla Area

Seeking a project engineer to be responsible for the management, coordination and delivery of water infrastructure projects in the Bateman's Bay area Our client is a small - medium sized company specialising in multi-utility infrastructure civil contracting. They excel in various areas including bulk and detailed excavation, concrete structure construction, drainage and conduit placement. Their expertise lies particularly in working on water retaining structures such as reservoirs and pumping stations. The Role Our client has the opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful leadership and delivery of a pump station project located near Batemans Bay. Key responsibilities for this role Project planning and design: lead the planning and design phase of the project Project management: oversee the project execution from initiation to completion Coordination: collaborate across team to facilitate progress and resolve issues Oversight: monitor activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards Documentation and reporting: prepare comprehensive documentation and communicate updates to stakeholders Risk Management: identify potential risks and implement strategies to minimise delays Quality assurance: implement processes to ensure that project deliverables meet client requirements and specifications Budget and cost control: manage project budgets and track expenses to achieve cost-effective project outcomes Stakeholder relations: build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders involved, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the project About you Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Previous experience in managing construction based projects Excellent relationship building, problem-solving, negotiation, leadership and communication skills Understanding of project planning, resource and material allocation Should I apply for this role?
