Sales Development Representative — The Rocks, Sydney

PaidRight is an Australian software company that exists to restore trust between employers and employees when it comes to pay. By using our digital platform, employers can check if they pay their employees correctly. As pioneers in this space we are a fast growing, well-funded company that services some of the biggest employers in the country. As a next step in our growth journey we are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic and ambitious team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by generating qualified leads, setting up, and being part of sales meetings. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing leads to create opportunities for PaidRight. What you'll do: Identify and qualify potential leads through research, inbound inquiries, and outbound prospecting Conduct outbound calls and emails to educate prospects on PaidRight's offerings and identify their needs Set up appointments and demonstrations between prospects and the sales team Build and maintain relationships with prospects, capturing key information in our CRM system Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition to effectively position PaidRight's solutions This role will be crucial to PaidRight's success as we scale up our business. Our existing customer base has largely been won by word of mouth (our reputation is excellent). PaidRight's customer value proposition is now clearly defined and there is plenty of evidence that our solutions are in high demand. In FY25 we will really step up our sales and marketing efforts and as a SDR you will play a pivotal role in not only generating new business, but also in optimising our sales, marketing and conversion methods. Requirements Previous experience in a sales or lead generation role, ideally in a B2B technology context Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to articulate the PaidRight value proposition Deep curiosity and willingness to learn Goal-oriented mindset with a desire to succeed Self-motivated and driven to exceed targets Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred Benefits We're a startup with all of the expected benefits that come with a fast-growing tech business: We are a young startup with plenty of space for career development.
