Permanent Part time Opportunity for a Chef Role reports into a Chef Manager Sunday to Thursday 8:00 Am to 4:00 PM Location: 220 Middleborough Rd, Blackburn South VIC 3130 This role will support us in ensuring that Regis meals create joy in the daily lives of our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience working in commercial catering or Aged Care and someone that is passionate about assisting our residents with their daily needs. Duties & Responsibilities Responsible to contribute in menu planning to meet residents needs and preference. Preparation, serving, presentation and delivery of food and refreshments in accordance with Food Safety Program. Participate in continous quality improvement program. • Responsible for maintaining and facilitating clean and hygienic work practices. Strong front of house presence including communication with residents and families About you Qualification (Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery) and/or experience working as a Cook Aged Care would be advantageous but not necessary Time management and interpersonal skills • Willingness to work as part of a broader catering team to continually improve the catering experience in our home. To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply a NDIS worker screening clearance, COVID and flu vaccinations, and certification proof.
