Benefits for you: Work on large projects, of a bespoke nature, no cookie-cutter work here Environment focused on employee wellbeing Some workplace flexibility Open culture of hard work, collaboration and celebrating success Vertically integrated with on site manufacturing Engineering differentiation with global influence Transparency across the business on various levels Birthday celebrations Supported learning and career development Only true Australia end-to-end solutions provider in the sector Optimized salary packaging available Global holding company share scheme Internal Mentoring and Coaching What you will do: Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for: Developing detailed product engineering information System level design of mechanical systems and sub-systems FEA and DEM to verify and measure bulk material flow performance Ensure engineering change management processes are handled efficiently Establish product standards to reduce design effort and cost Continually seek product and cost improvement , in production and installation Manage and review third party documentation Prepare cost data, RFI , and task assignment Manage staffing schedules and budgets effectively Participate in Design / Operation / Maintenance Risk Assessments and FMEA Contribute the company’s overall safety objectives What you will need: The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of relevant conveyor and bulk material handling design experience and be ready to step up, in addition to: Advanced experience with conveyor design and function A track record of developing prototype solutions for clients Experience with Coal, Quarry and Industrial conveyor operations Ability to lead a team , and influence internal and external stakeholders Experience collaborating across multiple offices and sites Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering CPEng or RPEQ would be an advantage Skills with 3D Modelling using Inventor FEA studies using Autodesk Inventor and Strand7 Machine and equipment design skills are mandatory Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards AS1755, AS4026, AS3390, AS4100 Ability to distribute and delegate clear and concise instructions to the team If this sounds like an opportunity that excites you, please apply today, or reach out to Garth Wood on 0483 877 213 or garthbarclayrecruitment.com.au UNFORTUNATELY NO SPONSORSHIP IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS ROLE.
