Warehouse Operations Administrator | Kemps Creek NSW — The Rocks, Sydney

YOUR ROLE As an Operations Administrator in our new 3PL warehouse at Kemps Creek NSW, you'll provide essential and broad administrative support to the Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor/s and colleagues in the wider operation, to help ensure that we run smoothly day-to-day. The role will specifically support operations for our new food manufacturing customer. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Specifically, you will: Work closely with our Operations Manager, Supervisors and others to identify and troubleshoot issues Support training requirements for new and existing employees and contractors Identify and organise training on our Warehouse Management System, based on system developments, human errors, and customer claims Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, working with Business Process Excellence (BPE) team Prepare and present quality KPI data, including EPM and Nilpicks, as required by the Operations Manager Based on training feedback, provide support to the Inventory Controller and BPE team to improve overall operations Identify and analyse errors and issues in the operations, working with the Inventory Controller to resolve inventory discrepancies and mispicks. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Our ideal candidate has experience in an administrative support role in any industry as well as: Intermediate experience in MS Office applications, and capable of learning new systems and working with technologies generally Good written and verbal communication, time management and customer service skills Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, know when to seek advice, suggest solutions or escalate as required Bonus: experience working in a warehousing / distribution environment in any capacity. In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
