Our state-of-the-art facilities offer a dynamic environment tailored to the unique needs of cruise operations. We seek a skilled professional to join our team and ensure the smooth and efficient management of our facilities, contributing to the seamless operation of our services. Current Opening: This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week). Position Responsibilities and Tasks Manage repairs and monitor systems performance to ensure optimal functionality of warehouse operations, including overseeing stock control systems and planning stocktaking procedures. Maintain an adequate inventory of parts and order items as necessary to support maintenance activities and forecast ongoing inventory accuracy. Manage contractors for maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring quality work, and timely completion while setting and enforcing operational guidelines and standards for staff. Keep the building in good repair condition and manage emergency repairs effectively, while developing and refining warehouse operations procedures. Ensure the safety of the warehouse site and all occupants by adhering to safety protocols and regulations, including overseeing receiving, storing, and distribution processes. Oversee all maintenance tasks in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner, achieving and exceeding on-time delivery standards in collaboration with the logistics team. Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance works for mechanical and electrical facilities, utilizing advanced Excel skills for reporting and data entry where applicable. Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance and major repairs to minimize downtime and identify cost-saving opportunities. Conduct entry and exit inspections to assess maintenance needs and address any issues, while coaching and training staff on best practices and operational standards. Ensure compliance with security and safety regulations in all maintenance activities, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues promptly. Develop and maintain an effective waste management system for the warehouse and control budgets and forecast for all preventative and reactive maintenance activities. Identify and provide recommendations for opportunities to improve building efficiency and sustainability, achieving accuracy and cost efficiency in daily picking and outbound shipments. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualifications, if any. A minimum of two-three years' experience in a similar role. Proven experience in maintenance management and stock management, preferably in a duty-free products supplier or similar industry. Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, safety regulations, and warehouse operations. Excellent communication, leadership, and data analysis skills. Ability to manage budgets, forecast maintenance needs, and identify process improvement opportunities. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
