The Role Due to a busy pipeline of work, the strategic decision has been made to add a new Senior Design Manager to lead the existing team of 4 Design Managers The role will be a blend of team management and operational delivery, using your expertise to lead the largest and most challenging projects whilst ensuring the team consistently achieves their targets and exceeds expectations. You will then work closely with the Construction Director, development team, end users and project delivery teams in a truly collaborative environment and enjoy the wins as a team About You Candidates MUST have proven experience working on multi-level (mid to high rise) residential towers, preferably delivering a class 1 product. The level of finish for these owner occupier dwellings is exceptional and requires someone with a real passion for quality and detail in design. This would suit someone who has worked in a Tier 2 contractor or a builder/developer in a Design Management role for 10 years . You will have extensive front end experience including DA/BA processes, scoping consultant work, writing contracts and procuring consultants. You will develop tight but achievable programs and lead the team of consultants to achieving these timeline goals. This will be done whilst driving efficiencies in design and materials without compromising on the quality of the final product. Given the team management aspect of the role, you will be a natural leader that demonstrates a high level of emotional intelligence.
