Assistant Night Manager (Part Time) — Adelaide, Adelaide Region

Your day-to-day - Complete and/or oversee night audit function and preparation of daily financial reports and audit functions - Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner - Use company systems and processes to maximise revenue through walk-ins, up selling, and car park revenue - Maintain cashiers float, ensuring accurate daily report of all money received, performs the audit balances and prepares all works for audit in an orderly fashion - Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans - Provide support in coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve department leaders and team member performance/development - Support and ensure Front Office staff provides guests with prompt service, professional attention and personal recognition - Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships that drive continuous improvements in guest satisfaction - Conduct routine inspections of the Front Office and public areas and take immediate actions to correct any deficiencies - Support in identification of hazards, evaluation of risks, and design and implementation of hazard control measures There's so much more to the job than we can capture here. It's simply about creating great experiences, doing the right thing and understanding people What we need from you Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration, Business Administration and four years' guest service/hotel experience with two years in a management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must speak local language(s). Valid South Australian Responsible Persons Certification, Responsible Service of Alcohol, and First Aid Certificate are required.
