Customer Service Officer — Ottoway, Port Adelaide Area

We employ 300 staff at our Gillman head office and in our regional depots in Port Augusta, Whyalla, Port Pirie, Kadina, Clare, Berri and Victor Harbor. This network enables us to provide next-day express freight services to all South Australia (Metro and Regional), Broken Hill and Mildura. We currently have a full-time position available for a skilled Customer Service Officer (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm). The role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers and being the first point of contact in responding to enquiries, providing customers with helpful and timely assistance and information, keeping customers informed of the status of their enquiries, effectively managing any complaints, issues or concerns that may arise in a professional and courteous manner and maintaining up-to-date records. About You Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of customer inquiries. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional and friendly demeanor. Proficient in use of the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs. Customer Service experience within the transport industry will be well regarded.
