This role offers a 14D/14R FIFO roster from Perth and focuses on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our Fixed Plant operations. Key Responsibilities Identify and scope continuous improvement opportunities Raise notifications and work orders Perform breakdown and fault finding on Fixed Plant equipment Conduct preventative maintenance on Fixed Plant equipment Participate in modular and shutdown maintenance activities Carry out statutory testing and inspections Qualifications and Experience Electrical trade qualification Current WA 'A' class electrical worker's licence High voltage ticket and experience with HV Switching Minimum 2 years of experience as an electrical tradesperson or Electrical/Instrumentation Technician in a continuous operating plant environment (maintenance experience preferred) Proficiency in PLC systems and control communication systems Basic instrumentation experience Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives Strong understanding of electrical schematics, isolation, and permitting systems Familiarity with computer-based maintenance systems, such as SAP (desirable) Our Commitment Fortescue is deeply committed to providing a safe culture that builds respect, fosters inclusiveness, and values diversity.
