Our client requires experienced Caucasian Female Disability Support Workers who have experience supporting people with mental health conditions and challenging behaviors. This role reports to an Area Manager, who supports and trains you to ensure you deliver exceptional care. About the Role: In home care assisting and enabling participants with daily tasks inc. meal preparation, personal care and administering medication. Assisting with domestic duties around the home. Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community. Support and enable participants to achieve their goals. About You: Caucasian Females only, due to clients request Minimum 1 plus years of experience in the disability sector. Experience across a range of disabilities, including challenging behaviors, Mental Health, and Autism. Minimum Certificate III Disability or similar/higher. Good communication skills. Empathy for the issues facing people with a disability. Strong belief in the principles of Person Centred Practices. Highly organised and proactive. NSW Driver’s License (or similar) plus own car is desirable.
