So what's the job all about? Our person-centred approach to care involves assisting clients on a daily basis with the many and varied activities in the home. Depending on your client's specific requirements you might be creating a delicious meal together, tackling a fun board game, enjoying a leisurely walk to the shops or relaxing with a favourite show So if you're looking for a rewarding role where you can bring your initiative, strong communication, commitment to ensuring continuity of care and strong manual handling skills this might be it Requirements Experience in a similar role working with people with disability PEG Feeding, MACA or Key Word Sign experience preferred but not essential NSW Driver's License Live locally to the North Lambton and Newcastle Region Flexibility to work across a variety of shift times as we operate 24/7 Availability: Our Group Homes operate on a 24/7 basis from Monday to Sunday. Shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnight (Awake Shifts). Requirements: Live locally to Northern Beaches NSW Driver's License Important information: At CPA the safety of our staff and clients is of paramount importance.
