Active Overnight Shifts Experienced Female Disability Support Workers Several positions are available in Northern Adelaide suburbs- Immediate Start Experience with high care and behaviour's of concern will be an advantage. About Cocoon SDA Care Cocoon SDA Care provides support staff to NDIS-registered provider. Our houses offer our participants a place they can call home, whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit their individual needs. Our highly skilled and passionate team is dedicated to supporting our Participants to live life to the full. About the role We are looking for female support workers who are available for active overnight shifts. The typical night shift is 10 pm to 6am. You’ll assist clients with their evening routine, such as finishing dinner, unwinding from the day, personal hygiene and preparing for bed. Once clients are asleep, you’ll stay on site to be available for support as needed. In the morning you may help them with getting up and getting ready for the day. We are seeking support workers who have industry experience, manual handling skills and the following attributes: Clear and effective communication skills An ability to establish a professional relationship with participants, health practitioners and their families. Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster, including public holidays and be able attend training or meetings as required. You must be available for active overnight shifts to be considered for the role. EAP services Mandatory requirement Availability to work active overnight shifts Certificate III in Individual Support Disability, Aged care or equivalent First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain.
