We're on a rapid growth trajectory and are currently seeking a Product Design Manager to lead the design efforts for our new Loyalty program. In this role, you'll also mentor and manage a talented team of product designers. This role is based in Sydney, with our office conveniently located just a short walk from Wynyard station. A bit about the role As a Product Design Manager at Luxury Escapes, you'll be responsible for hands-on end-to-end product design, people management, and team operations. Your role will encompass designing and delivering features, providing constructive feedback to your designers, building and nurturing relationships with delivery teams and stakeholders, and steering the strategic vision for multiple products. As the lead designer for our new Loyalty program, you'll shape the strategy, collaborate cross-functionally, and oversee the entire lifecycle of this anticipated program – an opportunity to make your mark on a feature our customers eagerly await. Our Product Design team The Luxury Escapes Product Design Team is a group of passionate experts who work closely together to craft exceptional experiences for our customers. We foster a highly collaborative environment, emphasising mutual support, continuous learning, and having fun throughout the journey. We start each day with brief stand-ups to get everyone up to speed on ongoing projects. We host weekly Design Forums so that designers can showcase their work and get feedback from the whole design team. We engage in regular customer testing and share "UX Weekly Insights" with the rest of the business, which helps us continuously refine our products based on real user feedback. We do monthly team retros to acknowledge successes and explore areas for improvement. What you'll do as part of the role Understand user needs and business objectives and translate them into user-friendly solutions. Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes for testing, validation, and iteration. Collaborate closely with the Director of Design and other Product Design Managers to drive Luxury Escapes' vision forward. Effectively and clearly communicate design ideas and solutions to stakeholders. Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to your team of designers to enhance their skills and designs. Schedule and prioritise your team's design work to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Promote and contribute to the evolution of our Design System – LuxKit. What we're looking for Extensive experience in user-centred product design. Proven experience owning the end-to-end product design process for complex digital products or features, including design, shipping, and iteration. Previous experience in managing and mentoring designers. Expertise in Figma design tools including prototyping and design systems. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the product design team, product managers, engineers, and wider project stakeholders. Exceptional prioritisation skills, crucial for thriving in a fast-paced environment.
