John Forrest Secondary College (SC) is seeking an outstanding English teacher who ideally possesses a deep understanding of the Year 7 to Year 12 Western Australian Curriculum and has the passion and commitment to engage students in their learning and create a learning environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. The ability to teach Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or General courses and to deliver the Seven Steps writing program, while not essential, would be highly beneficial. We are seeking a teacher with strong interpersonal skills, enabling them to contribute positively to collaborative team environments, both within the learning area and across the college. A focus on forming positive working relationships with colleagues, students, and parents should underpin your practice, and the commitment to using data to inform the development of your contemporary evidence based professional practice is highly desirable.
