We are looking for vibrant and dedicated support workers to join our team and bring joy and enrichment to a client's life About the Role: We are seeking Female Disability Support Workers to work with our new male client in Preston with Autism. For this role ideally you will be able to converse in Italian with our client and have experience with Autism and Behaviour management. We are looking for staff for an immediate start, we have the below shifts available daily: Monday to Sunday 6:00am to 12:00pm (mornings) 12:00pm to 16:00pm (afternoons) 16:00pm to 23:00pm (afternoons/evenings) 12:00pm to 10:30am (afternoons/active nights) 16:00pm to 9:00am (afternoons/active nights) 23:00pm to 6:00am (active nights) What You'll Do: Provide one-on-one support to a client living in Preston, helping them navigate daily activities and community engagements. Some personal care will be required, however client will mainly need to be prompted Use your artistic interests to engage the client in arts and crafts, music, and creative projects. Ability to communicate or speak some Italian with our client would be a plus Manage behaviours of concern with patience and professionalism. Requirements: Ability to converse in Italian would be a plus Strong communication skills – both verbal and written Experience managing behaviours of concern Capable of performing active night duties Experience with autism and epilepsy support would be highly regarded Essential Licenses: NDIS Workers Screening Check Working with Children Check NDIS Orientation Module - Quality Safety and you First Aid and CPR Certificate Australian Driver's License Comprehensive Insurance on your vehicle At Nextt, we're devoted to providing the best possible care to our clients.
