The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes. Key Responsibilities Day-to-day accounting tasks, including weekly, monthly and ad hoc invoice payment runs and accounts receivable Ensure the accuracy of financial statements through meticulous reconciliation processes Assist the finance team with month-end and year-end close procedures Prepare financial reports and analyse to identify insights and trends Actively participate in refining and optimising internal accounting procedures Provide back up Receptionist support Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance role (graduates with relevant internships will also be considered) Experience with MS Dynamics and ConnectWise desirable Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team setting Benefits A great company culture is very important to The Missing Link.
