About the Role The City of Greater Dandenong has an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our Customer Service team. We are seeking a flexible, energetic, and empathetic person with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to excellent customer service. This role involves working five days a week delivering a superior customer experience to our diverse community and other stakeholders regarding Council Services. In this position, you will work as part of Greater Dandenong's Customer Service team, providing quality service to our diverse community across all customer service channels, including telephone and face-to-face interactions. Please note: Part-time work may be considered for the right candidate. About You Key Requirements we are looking for: Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a confident manner. Patience, empathy, and the ability to meaningfully engage with customers from diverse backgrounds. Strong understanding of customer service principles and concepts. Ability to learn quickly and think on your feet. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Highly developed verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in a second language relevant to the community of Greater Dandenong is highly regarded. Driver's license is not required, but the ability to relocate to various worksites at short notice is necessary.
