North Metropolitan Education Region Boyare Primary School Teacher - Primary Pool Ref SS/TCH900139 Teacher, $78,397 - $113,568 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021) Appointment Pool Advertised Vacancy Number: SS/TCH900139 Boyare Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Teachers - Primary for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2025. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year, up to the end of Term 2, 2025. Boyare PS are looking for passionate, motivated, and skilled educators who are committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching, and instructional strategies. We are looking for dynamic, highly skilled educators committed to maximising their impact on student learning who actively engage in self-reflection. You should ideally have high expectations and truly believe that all children can learn at high levels and pursue excellence in your teaching. You should be committed to implementing agreed whole school approaches within a plan-teach-assess cycle. Knowledge, understanding, experience and openness to learning and implementing Classroom Management Strategies (CMS), Berry Street Education Model, Zones of Regulation and a restorative practice approach are encouraged to apply. Teachers with expertise in high impact, evidence-informed strategies such as explicit instruction, PLD synthetic phonics, Talk 4 Writing, and Top Ten Maths are highly desirable. Data literacy is a necessary skill at Boyare and being able to interpret collected assessment data to inform teaching is imperative. Our school utilises PAT, PLD, NAPLAN, Bright Path, PROBE, Peter Westwood and Elastik to determine teaching direction and student progress. Suitable applicants will ideally be committed to the school's vision to develop each child's potential and possess the capacity to establish strong, positive and productive relationships with students, peers and the wider school community. Teachers who create an engaging, challenging learning environment, differentiating for students' needs, resulting in every student making at least a year's progress for a year's teaching will be highly regarded.
