Knowledge, understanding, experience and openness to learning and implementing Classroom Management Strategies (CMS), Berry Street Education Model, Zones of Regulation and a restorative practice approach are encouraged to apply. Teachers with expertise in high impact, evidence-informed strategies such as explicit instruction, PLD synthetic phonics, Talk 4 Writing, and Top Ten Maths are highly desirable. Data literacy is a necessary skill at Boyare and being able to interpret collected assessment data to inform teaching is imperative. Our school utilises PAT, PLD, NAPLAN, Bright Path, PROBE, Peter Westwood and Elastik to determine teaching direction and student progress.
