Onsite Forklift Operator — Kemps Creek, Penrith Area

As part of delivering no better experience to our customers we are looking for an Onsite Forklift Operator to join our NSW team. This is a 12-month contract role and will be based onsite with one of our customers in Kemps Creek. Requirements As an Onsite Forklift Operator your role will involve: Efficient, safe and secure loading, unloading, movement and packing of merchandise/materials/stock to assigned location Accurate loading and unloading of merchandise/materials/stock to assigned location Ensure that all pallets are assessed as safe and have sufficient shrink wrap to be safely put into the pallet racking Locate and move pallets or crates for storage into racking locations Perform quality checks on materials/stock and identify and report damages, shortages or quality deficiencies Inspect machinery including forklift and other control equipment to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance in accordance with the sites WHS practices Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs Comply with company policies and legal guidelines Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities Requirements: Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment Valid LF License Counterbalance & High reach experience Teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently and autonomously Attention to detail and high-level accuracy Reliable and punctual Available to work overtime if required Previous RF scanning experience and the use of pallet jacks – advantageous A can-do attitude and the ability to roll up your sleeves to get things done is essential Benefits Strong focus on regular and ongoing professional development training, enhancing skills and career progression An opportunity to be part of an industry leader Free parking Company functions and team building activities
