About the Role: As a CSA Disability Support Worker, you will be engaged across multiple settings, including: - Home-Based Care - Disability Support - Community Access - Integrated Family Services - Transport - Respite Support Key Duties: It supports the needs of individuals with complex medical needs that require high physical support. Encouraging the customer's options for choice and control and empowering them at all times. Implementing and supporting behavioural plans and record keeping. Undertaking or assisting with daily household tasks, e.g., cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc. Providing opportunities to develop skills. Accompanying them on outings and day-to-day activities such as shopping, appointments, and social outings. We are looking for experienced disability support workers with the following experience: Acquired brain injury Disabilities Nursing Mental Health Key Selection Criteria: Are customer-focused, committed, reliable and punctual Have excellent active listening skills with the ability to act and communicate with empathy, politeness, and tact Are highly confidential and protect the privacy of your customers and families Energetic and excited to make a difference in people’s lives by providing genuine support and always striving to improve experiences Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills, especially great listening skills Take accountability and be trusted to work autonomously or as a team.
