They are currently seeking a talented Design Draftsperson to join their professional team. About the Role As a Design Draftsperson, reporting to the Lead Draftsperson, you will play a pivotal role in providing mechanical design and drafting services to this organisation. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting Mechanical and Piping Engineers in developing designs, 3D models, and drawings for various project stages. - Preparation of preliminary and detailed designs, drawing packages, and documentation. - Production of as-built models and drawings for maintenance and asset lifecycle management. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards, health, safety, and environmental requirements. In this role, you will: - Lead specific projects and liaise between internal customers and drafting teams. - Produce I&C designs with rapid turnaround. - Collaborate with construction teams and provide necessary modifications. - Assist in the implementation of discipline-related standards, guides, and procedures. About You To excel in this role, you should possess: - Proficiency in mechanical and piping discipline-related drawings in 2D/3D. - Experience in conceptualizing plans, details, and sections for construction and fabrication. - Good communication skills to collaborate with engineering staff and stakeholders. - Knowledge of relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.
