About the role The Warehouse Manager will manage and control the Warehousing and Delivery operations for the Site. This involves the efficient and safe warehousing and transportation of packaging, raw materials and finished goods, including Kerry-managed / 3PL operations and will require you to liaise with internal Kerry teams such as Customer Service, Quality Control, Procurement and Manufacturing. Work Location : Lytton - Brisbane Reporting to : Supply Chain Manager - Logistics Key responsibilities Whilst managing the Warehouse Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the following key areas: People Management - promote a culture of accountability, team work and continuous learning as well as hiring, skills development & training and performance evaluations. Oversee the end-to-end management of the Warehouse Facilities. Manage relationships with 3PL Warehouse Providers, Suppliers, Carriers and Government Authorities. Monitor and report on Warehouse Performance Metrics (OTIF, Incident Free Days) Leading initiatives to continue to improve Warehouse Processes and Procedures, fostering a culture of innovation and problem solving among Warehouse Team. Implement Supply Chain strategies & policies as required. Prepare and present reports to senior managers. Review & follow up implementation of Warehouse SOPs Warehouse Traffic Management Reporting. Overseeing inbound and outbound operations. Inventory Management. HACCP, Hazardous substances & Dangerous Goods control Implement lean principles and methodologies to optimize workflows and reduce waste and increase productivity (Good Warehousing Practices and Waste Management). Champion safety initiatives and ensure compliance with Safety Standards and Regulations through regular training and audits. Manage the Labour Hire Requirements for the Warehouse Team. Qualifications and skills Relevant Warehouse Certifications. 5 to 10 years of Warehousing FMCG Experience, with 5 years in a leadership role. Ideally prior experience in a Food, Beverage, or Ingredient Manufacturing Environment along with an understanding of HACCP and Good Warehousing Practices. Leadership Skills - inspire and empower a team to embrace change and drive improvement. Adaptability and agility to navigate evolving priorities changes in a dynamic warehouse environment. Commitment to Safety and Compliance, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. Experience in using the Microsoft Suite and SAP.
