We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant for an immediate start in our clients Athol Park operation. This positon is suited to people who have great experience in the retail sales enviroment and has a strong focus on customer service. Tasks and Responsibilities: You are in charge of phone and counter sales . Promotion and up-selling of new products and initiatives is required Development and up-keep of in-store displays and promotional material is part of your role You will be responsible for the stock management and the dispatching and receiving of goods Some warehouse work Safe manual handling of gas cylinders is required Requirements and Attributes: MUST have experience in welding or sales within the welding industry MUST be willing to obtain a LF license MUST have experience in a retail sales environment Strong focus on customer service suits your profile Confidence in presenting our wide product & service range to our customers You have excellent time management skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills Industrial and safety equipment knowledge would be highly advantageous Be able to pass a pre employment medical Must have full working rights in Australia as this position offers full time hours If successful in this position, you will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate and a supportive and friendly company culture.
