Key Responsibilities: Personal Care: Assist participants with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Manual Hoist Operation: Safely operate manual hoists to assist participants with mobility and transfers. Complex Care: Provide specialized care including complex bowel care and catheter management. Flexible Shifts: Be available to work day and afternoon shifts, as well as non-active sleepovers, to meet the varied needs of our participants. Effective Communication: Establish professional relationships through clear and effective communication with participants, their families, and co-workers. Specialized Experience: Provide support to participants with spinal injuries or quadriplegia, applying your expertise to enhance their quality of life. REQUIREMENTS: Experience in personal care and manual hoist operations. Proficiency in complex bowel care and catheter management. Availability for day, afternoon, and non-active sleepover shifts. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships with participants, their families, and co-workers. Experience working with individuals with spinal injuries or quadriplegics is highly desirable.
