Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health. The Role: We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to partner with our 83-year-old Male participant based in South Hurstville, NSW . Our participant sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and requires assistance with all aspects of daily life. The current care plan in place requires 24/7 support. The hours we require covering are include: Shift 1: 0600-1000 Shift 2: 1800-2200 Shift 2: 2200-0600 ( inactive sleepover ) Due the complexity of the participant, successful candidates must have experience with Traumatic Brain Injuries. Pay Rates: Day - $38.75 per hour Afternoon - $42.63 per hour Saturday - $54.25 per hour Sunday - $69.75 per hour Key Responsibilities: Assistance with eating and drinking Assistance with personal care and toileting Completing skin checks Manual handling Assistance with Health & Rehab exercises Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning & meal preparation Community access Skills & Experiences: Reliable, proactive and positive attitude Croatian, Serbian, Macedonian speaking Support Workers preferable but not essential NDIS Effective Communication Module Current National Police Clearance NDIS Worker Orientation Module Current NDIS Screening check First Aid & CPR Certificate Australian Driver Licence Current WWCC Please note: two current references are required If you meet the above criteria and are interested in the role, hit the "Apply" button now.
