Our team ensures the right people are in the right place, at the right time, to help develop, deliver and manage complex projects and assets in the energy sector, including wind, solar and transmission projects. Our client is one of the biggest names in the Renewable Energy market. We have a current and immediate opportunity for highly skilled and efficient Cost Controllers/Cost Engineers/Senior Cost Engineers to work in key roles supporting onsite delivery and the programme as a whole. The Roles: Assist with providing accurate and timely cost and performance reports to management for monitoring and managing the project’s budget. Work together with the Contractor to ensure all costs have been allocated correctly throughout the performance of the Works. Perform regular forecasting activities to ensure accuracy of the forecast, and that it is in accordance with the Programme. Undertake earned value and productivity analysis and reporting in a timely manner. Highlight risks and opportunities relating to the forecast. Assist with the successful delivery of the Project by providing timely reports and support to the broader Project Team. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required. Produce detailed cost engineering reports in collaboration with the cost engineering teams of key supply chain members. Carry out detailed site measures of works as required. Constructively undertake detailed analysis of cost and progress data to enable timely decisions to positively influence the time and cost outcomes of the Project. About You: Degree in Finance, Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field. Minimum 1 year (Cost Controller), 5 years (Cost Engineer), or 8 years (Senior Cost Engineer) of highly relevant experience in project controls, cost management, or related fields. Demonstrated level of commercial acumen and experience with project control processes and procedures. Demonstrated understanding and working experience of Cost Management systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent engagement skills, ability to effectively communicate commercial matters to a wide range of personnel, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
