Salary will depend on the individual, ranging from $90,000 - $120,000 TRP however more senior candidates can also be considered. Your day will consist of: Design of crane bases, steel grillages, ties & climbing sequences Review of jump forms and construction sequencing for the installation of concrete & steelwork Man & material hoist design and detailing Protection works including screens, handrails & platforms Design of formwork, temporary propping and retention systems Prepare construction methodologies & sequencing design Structure erection design for buildings projects Creative problem solving and complex structural analysis Site inspections and liaising with construction teams Your talents will include: A recognised Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Minimum 5 years experience in temp works design and construction methodologies Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a big plus Technical competency in the delivery of Structural Engineering Solutions Demonstrated experience designing temporary structures to Australian standards Experience using design software such as AutoCAD, Strand7, SpaceGass & Microstran Solid grounding in steel and concrete design Proven record of working independently and being self-motivated Confident on site and dealing with contractors Excellent organisational and time management skills Begin your application: It's simple - Hit APPLY now or email your CV to siobhanaptus.com.au.
