In this role, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development and integration of front-end technologies, particularly ReactJS, ensuring seamless user experiences for our Digital Customer platforms. You will also be involved in building API and microservice capabilities to support these front-end solutions, contributing to key strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing our Digital Insurance self-service capabilities. What you'll do Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust front-end solutions using ReactJS to support digital customer self-service platforms. Ensure seamless integration of front-end components with backend services, including APIs and microservices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UX/UI Design, and Quality Assurance, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Implement best practices in coding, testing, and software engineering to ensure high-quality and reliable software. Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies within the development team. Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise during the development process. Collaborate closely with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end solutions. What you'll bring Proven experience as a Principal Software Engineer, Lead Developer, or similar role in a high-performing development team. Strong expertise in front-end development, particularly with ReactJS. Solid experience in building and maintaining APIs and microservices. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
