Senior Network Engineer In our transformation journey we will be moving from on-prem infrastructure to cloud-based, along with the refresh and redesign of our network and application suite. As Senior Network Engineer you will play a pivotal role in redesigning, building and maintaining the network infrastructure across all of IA, including private clinics, public hospital contracts and teleradiology verticals. This is a newly created role and will see you partnering with innovative leaders to help shape our current and future business. Reporting to the Head of Technology and Digital Transformation you are responsible for: Building a comprehensive network architecture, including support, security, troubleshooting and training, that can fulfill IA strategic and operational goals to support both the current business and planned growth and transformation. Leading the cyber security maturity journey of the company, playing a key advisory role to the Head of Technology and Digital Transformation. Leading, designing, building, testing and deploying network (wired, wireless & VPN) for existing and new IA sites. Developing IA standard network specifications for integrations, provisioning global access to IA Application suites and securing the IA environment with relevant firewall configuration and maintenance. Liaising with external service providers, vendors, and client IT teams to complete project deliverables on time with clear communication. What’s on offer? What experience do I have? Network Engineering/Computer Science Engineering degree or equivalent network technology certification(s). Extensive experience as a network engineer. Demonstrated knowledge in designing, maintaining and troubleshooting networks including WAN, LAN, Wireless, VPN and IPSEC tunnels. Knowledge of cloud/hybrid networking technologies. Firewall configuration and maintenance (Palo alto, Cato). Experience in data center failover/DR mechanisms, network segmentation, network security design. Network traffic monitoring, VPN configuration and troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to self-manage in terms of time, deliverables and project outcomes. Demonstrated experience in clear and concise communication . Strong knowledge of emerging technologies, digital trends and industry best practices. Healthcare domain experience is a plus.
