Role accountabilities: Focusing on providing technical advice, direction, and overview of the day-to-day delivery of urban development engineering designs, as well as meeting agreed budgetary, quality, safety and timeframe targets. Managing selected designs and teams to develop and implement the highest level of technical delivery through effective review process while exceeding client expectations. Building effective and enduring relationships with our other teams and technical disciplines, and external organisations to foster co-operation and maximize our technical offering to ensure the integrity and quality of the overall design. Managing subconsultants, quality assurance, client feedback and ensure effective communication of any changes/modifications. Championing the involvement and inclusion of our interstate and overseas teams by ensuring a seamless part of our service offering. Qualifications & Experience: First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life and want to be part of city-shaping projects and providing the best solutions to our clients. You are a tertiary qualified engineer with extensive experience in urban development design and come to us with: Melbourne Retail Water Agencies (MRWA), sewer and water auditing accreditation necessary Relevant degree (Civil Engineering preferred) recognised by a relevant Industry Association or Institute - Chartered professional status, or equivalent and a post graduate qualification will be highly regarded; Extensive industry experience (minimum ten years) including overseeing the engineering aspects of a project, application of standards and technical knowledge within the NSW urban development market; Ability to provide technical expertise and direction through consultative support and effective communication to the teams; Ability to lead, manage, mentor and develop large to medium scale, diverse project teams; Experience of working in multi-discipline teams and/or project teams on major complex projects across a range of market sectors; and Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally.
