My People Solutions Recruitment are currently seeking to fill a number of Disability Support Worker (Standard Level & High Intensity Level) vacancies in North, East & South Metro Melbourne suburbs and are keen to speak with applicants who have at least 1 year of disability support worker experience and who are committed to delivering quality care for their clients. Our clients have a variety of full time and part-time shifts available for casual and fixed term positions across various suburbs and applicants must be able to work a variety of days & hours and be willing to travel to their client's home. NDIS WORKER SCREENING CHECK, POLICE CHECK, FIRST AID/CPR, WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK, CAR & CAR LICENCE ARE ESSENTIAL Important: If you have at least 1 years' experience working as a disability support worker and all your documents (including a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check) please contact us immediately. Requirements At least 1 years' experience of working as a disability support worker. Experience of working with people with Autism/ADHD, Mental Health, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Mental Health, Dementia & Advance Manual Handling Supports, Behaviours of Concern, Restrictive Practices will be highly regarded. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, Vaccinations (including COVID), CPR & First Aid, right to work in Australia, 100 Points of ID, Driving Licence and access to a reliable car are essential. Cert III Individual Supports, Cert IV Disability and / or Mental Health Care Qualification, or equivalent are preferred. Ability to communicate, problem solve and use life experience along with integrity, honesty & reliability are critical attributes for this role. You will be required to undertake online knowledge & skills screening as part of your application before commencing work.
