As a DevOps Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to optimize and automate our software development and deployment processes. Knowledge of cloud management and security is crucial for this role. You'll collaborate with both development and operations teams to enhance system reliability, reduce deployment times, and improve the overall software development lifecycle. Expect to be heavily involved in daily team activities, thriving in a fast-paced, task-driven environment where adaptability is key. Responsibilities: Containerization Management: Oversee Docker containers and orchestration systems like Kubernetes for scalable application deployment. CI/CD Pipeline Oversight: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Infrastructure as Code Development: Create and manage infrastructure as code scripts (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for resource provisioning. Configuration Management: Implement tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible to maintain consistent system configurations. Monitoring and Security Implementation: Establish monitoring systems and security measures to identify and address infrastructure and application issues, ensuring compliance with security standards. Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration Version Control: Manage version control systems (e.g., Git) to ensure code and configuration changes are tracked and documented Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for all DevOps processes and configurations Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field Previous experience as a DevOps Engineer Proficiency in automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS Understanding of configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible) Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills, along with effective communication and documentation abilities Additional Skills: Understanding of security best practices and compliance standardsExperience with continuous monitoring and log analysis, and database management systems Advantageous: Familiarity with financial market operations and cloud migration experience myprosperity is heavily focused on technology innovation, attracting the best talent and empowering you to do your best work.
