TUG Driver — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

Lindsay Transport is currently looking for an experienced TUG Driver to join the Acacia Ridge depot on an afternoon shift basis. MC licence essential. The Role: Lindsay Transport is currently seeking a TUG driver with an MC licence to join the team at our depot in Acacia Ridge on a full-time basis. The roster is Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday commencing at 4pm. Primary duties of the role include: Driving the Tug around the depot Hooking and unhooking trailers Frequently climbing in and out of the TUG Reversing B-Doubles and Singles in the yard Coordinating drivers within the yard Refuelling fridge motors Conducting necessary yard checks Communicating effectively via 2-way radio Conducting necessary paperwork as required. The candidates we are looking for will have; A current MC drivers’ licence and experience in this licence class, TUG Driving Experience preferred however not necessary as training will be provided Experience transporting chilled and frozen freight; Experience checking and setting van temperatures, A commitment to workplace health and safety (essential) To be successful for this role applicants must; Pass an internal driving assessment Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test Provide a current and clean traffic print out (Past 5 years) If you’re successful in joining us, you’ll be joining a team where creativity, diversity and innovation are encouraged.
