Wood Minerals & Metals team is currently delivering critical metals projects, including Copper, Nickel, Lithium, Vanadium, Rare Earths, and Base Metals. This portfolio of projects ranging from studies through to EPCM packages working on developments in Australia and internationally - Australia through to Europe, Middle east Africa and Asia. Reporting to the Functional Manager within EIC you will join a team based in Perth and Brisbane, working across the vast range of projects currently underway ranging from studies, detailed engineering to EPCM delivery for both local and international developments. You will be involved in the E&I design for this new project and support Instrumentation and Electrical Engineers with development of wiring and installation drawings for electrical equipment and work with other disciplines, in a team environment to create multi-discipline design packages. Your key responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to: - Coordinate and lead the modelling for E&I work Review and interpret E&I schedules and allocate to design accordingly Update models to show E&I equipment in accordance with project standards whilst maintaining segregation requirements. Prepare and modify (where required) E&I layout drawings / drop-outs based on 3D model Review Vendor / Supplier General Arrangement drawings to determine layout requirements. You will also have: Prior experience in Electrical / Instrumentation design within mineral processing facilities Strong knowledge in applying relevant Electrical / Instrumentation industry design practices and key national and international standards and codes. Good written, verbal and presentation skills, particularly the ability to communicate discipline requirements to other members of the project team Ability to deliver best practice design and drafting, with emphasis on cost-effective design - Competency in Microstation and/or AutoCAD Knowledge of and exposure to key Clients in Mining & Minerals Please note, only applicants holding valid working rights in Australia will be considered.
