Our client is a leader within the industry, with exceptional product and special pieces for your lifestyle Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Retail Trainer to join our team. The Store Retail Trainer will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs to ensure that our retail staff deliver outstanding customer service, adheres to company policies and procedures, and possesses thorough product knowledge to impact sales. Responsibilities: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for new team members, as well as ongoing training sessions for existing staff to reinforce skills and knowledge. Collaborate with store managers and department supervisors to identify training needs and develop tailored training plans. Ability to be hands on and in the operation to impact sales. Develop comprehensive training materials, including manuals, presentations, and videos, to educate retail staff on customer service techniques, product knowledge, and store operations. Monitor the performance of retail staff and provide feedback and coaching to improve customer service skills and sales performance. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new products to ensure that training materials and programs are current and relevant. Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation sessions and guiding them through training modules. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback surveys, performance metrics, and observation, and make recommendations for improvement. Qualifications: Previous experience in retail, within a training position, leadership experience highly advantageous. Strong understanding of retail operations, customer service principles, and sales techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate audiences. Proficiency in creating training materials using various tools and platforms. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to adapt training programs to meet the needs of diverse learners. Certification: Bachelor or MBA in training and development or a related field.
