Description We are seeking an experienced Specialist Teacher with a passion for the Arts. The successful candidate will join our dedicated team, working part-time (0.6) from July to December 2024, to cover leave. Reporting to the Head of the Early Learning Centre, the role of Specialist Teacher further extends the children’s educational program in the areas of music, movement, dance, drama, and literacy, through library borrowing each week. The role will support and enhance development and learning of our 3-5-year old’s through the implementation of the Reggio Emilia Educational Project approach to early childhood. This position is part time, 0.6 fixed term from July - December Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Qualifications To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have the following: Registered Teacher - VIT Hold a Bachelor of Education Have a strong interest in the Arts and education Excellent communication, organization and time management skills Be passionate, authentic and have a love for learning and teaching Be Creative, energetic and have a willingness to work as part of a team Current First Aid Certificate; Asthma, Anaphylaxis, CPR training In continuing to build our community we seek like minded individuals with an optimistic outlook, with a high level of personal drive and integrity.
