As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of driving product innovation, crafting sleek designs and robust solutions that redefine industry standards, and working closely with hardware and embedded systems engineers. As a senior engineer, you'll also be involved with mentoring and guiding other mechanical engineers within the R&D team. Your role isn't just about designing products—it's about shaping a brighter, more responsible future. The Position: Engineer electromechanical assemblies, leveraging diverse materials and cutting-edge production techniques. Lead prototyping and design efforts to bring ideas to life Forge strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring flawless execution and top-notch quality. Champion best practices in product testing and compliance, ensuring our creations exceed regulatory standards. Work with and mentor junior engineers within the team. What you bring to the table: 10 years experience in a mechanical design engineering position Experience with product design A track record of success in end-to-end product development (motor driven product development experience essential). Proficiency in CAD modeling (Solidworks) and a thirst for pushing the boundaries of mechanical and thermal analysis. Expertise in fabrication, manufacturing, and rapid prototyping techniques. Proven prowess in cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with electrical and safety standards. A degree in Electromechanical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing Engineering or similar Excellent communication skills You must currently have working rights in Australia (citizen, permanent resident, or any other valid working visa) This is a full-time, permanent position which requires you to be onsite in the Sydney office.
