Your opportunity to join our team Based at our flagship Further Processing Site, the role of an electrician is an integral part of our daily site operations. As the new electrician, you will be required to work closely with the maintenance team and the broader functions of the site. This role will require someone who is flexible and willing to work Mon-Fri across a day shift roster. The site you would be working at, is purpose-built for taking fresh chicken meat processing to produce a range of fully cooked products such as nuggets, burgers, schnitzels other enhanced goods. The site maintains world-class quality standards and ensures food safety but also ensures that the plant is a clean and safe place to work. Fresh meat is delivered to the site daily and processed by frying, cooking, freezing, and packing before being dispatched to a number of key clients including Ingham products in the retail space. The health, safety, and well-being of our people are our highest priority Paid meal breaks Incremental increase for shift loading Daily Tasks: Attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner Reduce reactive maintenance and proactively improve unplanned downtime through effective planned maintenance activities Assisting in developing and introducing maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholders Ensure the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices in all repairs and maintenance activities Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks To be successful in this role, you will need to: Previous experience working in food manufacturing or FMCG South Australian Electrical license Post-trade qualifications would be desirable Industrial experience in installations, fault finding, repairs, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment PLC, safety circuit, and control system experience Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders Proven skills in the areas of attention to detail, information processing and problem-solving with the ability to multitask Ability to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance Experience with Maximo as a CMMS would be an advantage We're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us.
