We seek a passionate 0.6FTE Digital Technologies teacher (P-6) with a strong work ethic to join our team at St George Preca School. The role is a contract position covering Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The position commences July 15, 2024 The role and responsibility of the 0.6 FTE Digital Technologies teacher is to: Teach the Digital Technologies program according to the Victorian Curriculum Organise systematic assessment of student’s Digital Technologies skill development Meet with the designated Learning and Teaching Leader regularly to discuss the Digital Technologies program being delivered Promote Digital Technologies in the school and to the wider community Assess, analyse, document, monitor, and track student progress Develop a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of styles and approaches to cater to individual learning needs Use the knowledge of students, content, and pedagogy to establish clear, achievable, documented, and targeted learning goals Use contemporary learning tools to engage students and staff in their learning Regularly reflect on and critically evaluate professional knowledge and the effectiveness of teaching and commit to the school’s feedback culture and practices Oversee the Digital Technologies budget in accordance with school guidelines Special Requirements Have an understanding of the ethos and traditions of the Catholic Church Have VIT registration Be accredited to teach RE or committed to achieving this accreditation Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment Commit to St George Preca School&39;s Child Safe policies and the Code of Conduct Applicants should include a cover letter, resume, and three referees, including their current Principal.
