ABOUT THE ROLE Supercheap Auto has an opportunity for a Web Designer with a trading focus to join the eCommerce team. This role will play a pivotal role in driving the online trading metrics and enhancing customer experiences for a significant portion of our business. This key position within a thriving $1bn omni-retailer involves growing online revenue and profitability within your assigned area. You will contribute to the development of category digital strategies and take ownership of their online execution. Utilizing digital metrics, you will influence stakeholders and refine decision-making processes. Additionally, your responsibilities will include managing website content, executing promotional campaigns, and optimizing the online customer experience. Key responsibilities of the role: Website Personalization and Content Management: Manage and enhance the online customer experience by maintaining personalized shopping experiences and ensuring all website content, from product listings to educational materials, is engaging and informative. This includes supporting the accuracy and appeal of product listings and assisting in the creation and curation of content such as buying guides, educational materials, and promotional content. Ecommerce Performance Management: Take a strategic role in managing and enhancing the trading performance of your categories to achieve ambitious business goals. Strategic Leadership and Team Support: Support the Trading Manager by contributing to strategy development and ensuring the effective execution of digital plans. Provide guidance and specialist support to ecommerce coordinators, enhancing team capabilities and fostering a collaborative environment. Data-Driven Influence: Use digital metrics to influence stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. Pricing & Promotions Management: Oversee and execute pricing adjustments and promotional campaigns that are critical for driving category performance and customer engagement. Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze data to refine trading strategies, enhance content effectiveness, and identify key opportunities for growth. Product Taxonomy: Support in refining product categorization to ease navigation and discovery for our customers. ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will bring the following experience and skills to the role: Proven expertise in optimizing e-Commerce settings for both revenue and customer experience. Proficiency in analyzing, understanding, and leveraging data to improve outcomes, including proficiency with Google Analytics 4. Strong HTML and CSS skills. Hands-on experience with CMS tools like Shopify, BigCommerce, etc. A good understanding of the customer journey online, focusing on optimizing touchpoints for enhanced engagement and conversions. Strong adaptability and communication skills. Desirable Skills: Prior work with SAP/ERP and Product Information Management (PIM) platforms. A good understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, particularly factors that drive the traffic funnel, to enhance ecommerce performance. WHY JOIN US?
