Summary: We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team and help make a difference. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and demonstrating mobility equipment in a timely, efficient and caring manner. The Delivery Driver (we call you a "Finisher") will work closely with the broader team to ensure that all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures and to help deliver a great customer service. Responsibilities: Physical delivery of equipment, including lift chairs, hospital beds, etc. Ensuring timely deliveries to customers Conducting trials of assistive technology and mobility equipment Servicing/repairing & constructing equipment on an ad hoc basis Maintaining and building relationships with stakeholders, including various managers and a variety of health and disability industry professionals Operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and on time Ensure that all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required Perform routine vehicle maintenance and ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and tidy Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift and carry heavy items Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance Experience: Strong work ethic and the ability to deliver Good communication skills and a positive mindset Enjoys working in a fast paced environment Experience in assistive technology or mobility equipment beneficial but not necessary Practical knowledge of removal equipment (dollies etc) and techniques Other Requirements: National police check NDIS worker screening Drivers license
