Independent Public School - South Metropolitan Education Region Halls Head College Teacher - Design and Technology 00015379 Teacher, $78,397 - $113,568 per annum (SEA GA 2021) Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/TCH892688 This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2024 Halls Head College (HHC) is seeking to appoint a dedicated and innovative Design and Technology Teacher. The successful applicant will ideally be student and relationship-focused and be able to provide engaging, relevant and meaningful learning experiences. In addition, they should promote an environment of active and positive learning and provide educational opportunities and activities that enable students to achieve their very best. The successful applicant should be able to deliver an engaging and relevant curriculum in a range of Design and Technology contexts using a positive, student-focused approach whilst working with students across a range of ability levels. They should have a strong understanding of the requirements across Technologies to ensure students can reach their full potential in all aspects of the Technology and Design Process.The successful applicant should have the knowledge and understanding in the Western Australian Curriculum, and delivery and assessment in lower and upper school courses. Holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or the willingness to obtain one would be highly desirable. The successful applicant will ideally possess excellent interpersonal skills and a capacity to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment with students, teachers, and the wider community to achieve the best educational outcomes for our students.
