Customer Service Team Member Permanent part-time position Maroondah Hospital & Box Hill Hospital Busy and dynamic environment Eastern Health Eastern Health is one of Melbourne’s largest public health services. About the role An opportunity exists for a friendly and enthusiastic customer service professional to join the Business Service Centre (BSC) at Maroondah Hospital, with the potential to work at our Box Hill Hospital campus as well. The Business Service Centre is based at Box Hill Hospital & Maroondah Hospitals and provides 24/7 face to face, telephone and email customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. As the first point of contact the BSC team maintain a welcoming and friendly presence at the Main Reception desk for visitors and patients utilising Eastern Health's services. The BSC is responsible for many key systems and processes across the health service, providing a help desk function for staff and patients. You will be working with a friendly and supportive team to provide exceptional customer service, responding to various requests and system faults and completing day to day administrative tasks. This is a permanent part-time position for a weekly 1500-2300 shift on Tuesday evenings, however we're looking for someone who has availability to cover a variety of shifts, which can include day, evening, night, weekend and public holiday shifts across both BSC locations. This will also include the ability to cover both planned and unplanned leave. About you To be successful in this role you will possess: Exceptional customer service skills and previous experience in a customer service role An interest in healthcare, previous experience in the health environment would be advantageous but not essential. A team focus with the ability to work well as part of a diverse team. Strong computer skills An eagerness to learn and develop your skills. Flexibility to work additional hours would be beneficial. Excellent communication and organisational skills Please refer to the attached position description for further details of the role.
