If so, then we have the role for you Council is seeking a casual Customer Service Officer to deliver exceptional service at our Customer Service Centres. While this position will be primarily located at the Portland Office, the successful applicant will also provide coverage at both our Heywood and Casterton Offices to support the wider Customer Service team. What you need to Thrive Providing high quality customer service regarding Council services Being first point of contact for Customer enquiries both in person and via telephone Delivering professional and responsive service to all customers Receipting payments from Customers for Rates, Animal registrations, permits etc. Direct customer service experience is essential. Experience and knowledge of computers and computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Skills in managing time, planning and organising one's own work to maximise output and minimise cost. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to work harmoniously within a team environment. Ability to provide on the job training and basic supervision. Current Victorian Drivers licence.
