About the role An exciting opportunity for a senior-level experienced lawyer to join our team. Our team primarily supports the Property function of Coles , including leasing, development, acquisition and disposition work. You will provide legal advice and participate in strategic decision-making to ensure the continuing commercial success of the business. You will also autonomously work across a range of matters, providing commercial advice prioritising the strategic needs of the business. Leading, drafting and negotiating complex commercial transactions and contracts, including acquisitions and divestments, leasing and development arrangements. Maintaining a sound understanding of the regulatory and operational environments Coles operates in, to enable provision of suitable legal and risk advice, including on real estate, privacy, consumer law, construction and corporate governance matters. Having a passion for proactively identifying, evaluating and implementing new and improved processes and work practices to improve legal services delivery and efficiency.
